About Us

Pioneers in Elderly Care & Assistance Since 1991

Pro Careers, Inc. was founded by Carol and Clifford Smith. They have displayed extraordinary customer service, caring for thousands of individuals in need of care and assistance since 1991.

Social Assessment & Careful Matching

We begin by meeting with your family member in their residence to gather information and get to know one another. Information is taken from our discussions, assessments with the family, the client, and other professionals.

After reviewing what we've learned, we carefully make a companion selection and introduction. Great care is taken to match the most suited companion for each person.

The human element of respect, genuine concern, and warm, caring communication are the most important aspects of our work.

Our Ongoing Commitment

The selection of an appropriate companion is only the beginning of our role in enhancing your loved one's quality of life. The progress of the relationship is constantly monitored through our communication with you, your loved one, and our companion. We are then able to answer questions, resolve problems, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

That Extra Mile

With Pro Careers, you can put your mind at ease, knowing that your loved one's safety and security are assured. Our screening procedures are thorough and comply with state regulations. Many of our caregivers are seniors themselves, so they have an even deeper level of understanding. All have nurturing and sharing qualities that make them suited for this calling in life. We interview many people. We place only the ones who can pass this test question: "Would this be the person I would choose to care for my mother or father?"

The Greatest Benefits... Maintaining Dignity and Independence

Perhaps the greatest benefit older adults receive through Pro Careers is the ability to maintain independence and dignity. By having the help of a mature, caring companion, clients who need some assistance are spared the experience of moving out of their homes and into facilities. Should such care become necessary, appropriate recommendations are made to the family.
